As the official PR agent for fashion label Tony Cohen we were responsible for inviting press relations and the organisation of seating during its Autumn/Winter 2016 fashion show. A cold Sunday night didn’t keep the nation’s fashion lovers from visiting the Gashouder Amsterdam for a show filled with understated luxury. The collection showed a variety of styles which fitted the philosophy of the brand perfectly.
Tony Cohen is known for his use of natural luxurious (often handmade!) fabrics like leather, wool and silk. The label plays with the textures of these fabrics to create an elegant and rich look. An interview with Tony Cohen gave us an inside in his inspiration for the new collection: ”Compared to previous collections this one features more graphic prints. The shape of the human body is being exaggerated with a focus on the waist and hips. This season it’s all about subtle details and elegance”.
The night was successful in connecting the right press and celebrities to the Tony Cohen brand. The show featured topmodel Kim Feenstra who is known to always open and close the show. Loiza Lammers, the latest winner of Hollands Next Topmodel, joined her on the catwalk as one of the new models. Next to a great turn up for the fashion show there were also many requests for backstage interviews during which Tony Cohen and his models had the chance to talk about the collection and show.
